A very warm welcome to the Cowlersley Primary School website - its purpose is to give you a flavour of our school if you don't already know us and to relay important information if you do.
Cowlersley Primary is a small and friendly school serving the families of the Cowlersley community and beyond. Our vision is a simple one – every child who attends our school can expect and will receive an excellent standard of education; one that enables them to shine as individuals, make a positive contribution and reach their full potential.
The wellbeing of our pupils is at the heart of our work. By providing a well-structured and engaging curriculum and promoting good behaviour choices through our school behaviour policy of Ready, Respectful, Safe, we aim to enthuse in all pupils a love of learning as well as respect and care for each other and the world in which we live.
We know children learn best when home and school work together and value the partnership with families. Our aim is to communicate clearly and encourage all parents to take an active part in their child’s education.
Whatever the needs of your child and whatever special interests they have, we aim to ensure your child thrives at Cowlersley Primary School, feeling safe, making friends, learning well and enjoying success.
I am very proud to be the head of this wonderful school.
